When viewing a document via Preview, when using Markup tools, we can change the font type, color, and size of the text inside of text boxes.
My question is, is there a way to change the font when using the Form Filling tool on a PDF?

Here's the workaround that I found:
Use the Form Filling Feature located at the right of the menu bar and fill out the fields on the form. Select to show the markup toolbar but ignore it for the moment. The Form Filling Feature will pre-select a font, Helvetica 9 pt. in my case. Don't worry.
Now hold down the shift key and one-by-one select each field you've filled in and edit the font and font size using the appropriate item in the markup toolbar. Your fonts will now change in all selected fields to reflect your preferred font and size.

I'm filling in a tax form PDF and every time I enter some text I have to resize it, it's driving me crazy. This question was already asked here https://discussions.apple.com/thread/251179942 But unfortunately the answer doesn't work for me, I know how to change the font size, but Preview does not remember the last font size used but seems to revert back to something else every time I open a new text box, like the OP. Is this because the PDF has been badly formatted? If so, any way to unformat it? Thanks
Setting default font size in Preview I use Preview a lot for my job and even after I set the font size on a text box in a document; every time I create another text box, it's a different font size and it drives me crazy. Please tell me there's a way to set a default font in preview. It's such a basic function and yet, I don't see anything that allows me to do it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
